Different costume but last of the Tomie spam, I promise! I wanted to upload one pic of each different side of Tomie's "special characteristics", and anyone who's read the manga knows that Tomie tends to love glamor and have a habit of sitting in fancy chairs, all dolled-up.
One relevant illustration that I thought portrayed glamorous!Tomie perfectly was the cover page for the chapter '
Painter'. Managed to find the top online and made the skirt myself. (Added note: please be aware that the beauty spot is on the CORRECT side. The earliest Tomie translations flipped the manga to accommodate English readers for left-to-right reading so it's on the wrong side in those scans XD)
I wasn't originally going to upload this one, but then I realized recently that this year marks Junji Ito's 25th anniversary as a mangaka. Happy anniversary to Mr. Ito and hope he'll bring us all countless more years of amazing horror!!
